The Team
Yourtreatmentisonlyasgoodasyourinjector.
Seven named providers across two Connecticut locations. Every one licensed, credentialed, and photographed. No "team of experts" vagueness.
Who runs the clinic
Bravo MedSpa is staffed by licensed RNs, a Medical Director, a certified laser technician, a licensed aesthetician, and an operations manager.
All clinical roles are filled by Connecticut-licensed professionals. Every injector is a Registered Nurse — we do not use technicians for injectables, in accordance with Connecticut General Statutes § 19a-903c.
Founder
Alica Bravo, RN
Founder & Lead Nurse Injector
Alica is a Connecticut-licensed Registered Nurse and the founder of Bravo MedSpa. She came to aesthetics through a lifelong interest in art and symmetry, combined with a nursing career grounded in patient care. Alica personally sets the clinical standards at both locations and trains every injector on the team. She is known for her 'under-correct first' philosophy — start conservative, review at two weeks, add only if needed.

Dr. Nicole Saunders
Medical Director
West Hartford & Rocky Hill
Nicole is the Medical Director overseeing both Bravo MedSpa locations. Her role — required by Connecticut General Statutes § 19a-903c for any practice offering injectable aesthetics — is to supervise all medical protocols, review patient intake, approve treatment plans that exceed routine scope, and ensure every provider operates within their licensed scope of practice. She is on-site for complex cases and available by phone during all treatment hours.
Specialties
Sarah Mitchell, RN
Registered Nurse Injector
West Hartford
Sarah is a Connecticut-licensed RN with a background in emergency medicine before transitioning into aesthetic nursing. She specialises in preventative neurotoxin treatments for clients in their 20s and 30s ('baby Botox'), lip flips, and natural-result lip fillers. Clients consistently describe her chairside manner as unhurried and honest — she's the injector you want when you're nervous for your first appointment.
Specialties
Irene Taylor, RN
Registered Nurse Injector
Rocky Hill
Irene leads injectable services at the Rocky Hill location. She trained at the Allergan Medical Institute and completed advanced filler certification at the Aesthetic Medicine Cadaver Lab in Boston. Irene's specialty is structural mid-face restoration — the kind of subtle cheek and jawline work that reads as 'rested,' never 'done.' She also handles the practice's masseter (TMJ) Botox cases.
Specialties
Samantha Jones
Laser Technician
West Hartford & Rocky Hill
Samantha is a Connecticut-certified Laser Technician with advanced training on both Cutera and Cynosure device platforms. She handles all laser hair removal, IPL photofacial, tattoo removal, and vascular laser treatments across both locations. Samantha is certified on every Fitzpatrick skin type and is known for her meticulous test-patch protocol on darker skin tones.
Specialties
Diana Lee
Aesthetician & Skin Care Specialist
West Hartford & Rocky Hill
Diana is a Connecticut-licensed Aesthetician with a decade of experience in medical-grade skincare. She runs the practice's DiamondGlow facials, chemical peels, PRF microneedling (under medical oversight), and personalised home-care prescriptions. Diana is the team's go-to for clients with rosacea, melasma, and sensitive skin.
Specialties
Louis Garcia
Spa Manager & Operations
West Hartford & Rocky Hill
Louis runs operations across both Bravo MedSpa locations — scheduling, inventory, HIPAA compliance, vendor management, and client experience. If you've had a smooth intake, a well-timed appointment, or a quick callback, it probably traces back to Louis. He's the non-clinical anchor that lets the providers focus on treatment.

Training standards
Certification isn't where training ends — it's where it starts.
Every injector at Bravo MedSpa completes Allergan Medical Institute certification before touching a patient. That gets you current on four FDA-approved neurotoxins, two major filler families, and injection technique for every major treatment area. It's the starting line, not the finish.
From there, our RNs complete ongoing continuing education — quarterly hands-on labs with Galderma and Allergan, twice-yearly advanced cadaver labs (we've used Harvard MedEd, BeautyMed Academy Boston, and the IAPAM New York programs), and manufacturer-specific certifications for newer modalities like Radiesse biostimulator and masseter (TMJ) Botox.
Our Medical Director reviews new protocols, new products, and any complex case before it's performed. Our laser technician is recertified annually on each device platform. Our aesthetician maintains advanced PCA Skin and DiamondGlow certifications. Nobody performs a treatment they haven't been formally trained on — and that standard isn't negotiable.
